Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
These are the rules that keep QAI safe, fast, and fair for every customer. They form part of our Terms of Service.
1. What This Policy Covers
1.1 Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy sets the rules for using QAI’s website, platform, mobile apps, and API (the "Services"). It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to you and everyone you give access to your workspace. If this policy and the Terms conflict, the Terms prevail.
1.2 The Short Version
Use QAI for what it is built for — managing your assets, maintenance, and inspections. Don’t use it to break the law, harm others, attack the platform, or game your plan limits. Almost everything below is an application of that sentence.
2. Illegal and Harmful Use
2.1 Follow the Law
Do not use the Services to violate any law or regulation in any jurisdiction where you or your users operate, or to violate or encourage the violation of others’ rights — including infringing or misappropriating anyone’s intellectual property.
2.2 Prohibited Content
Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or pornographic, or that contains, promotes, or encourages violence, terrorism, or the exploitation of children.
2.3 No Harassment
Do not use the Services to advocate bigotry or hatred, or to harass any person or group — including our team. We support customers who treat people decently; abuse of our staff is grounds for losing access.
2.4 No Fraud
Do not use the Services for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose — for example phishing, impersonation, pyramid schemes, or mirroring the Services to deceive others.
3. Security and Platform Integrity
3.1 No Malicious Code
Do not distribute viruses, worms, trojans, corrupted files, or anything else of a destructive or deceptive nature through the Services.
3.2 No Interference
Do not interfere with or disrupt the Services or the infrastructure that runs them — including overloading or flooding any part of them — or interfere with other customers’ use.
3.3 No Circumvention
Do not disable, bypass, or circumvent any security, authentication, or technical protection measure of the Services, and do not access areas of the Services or other customers’ workspaces you have not been given access to.
3.4 Security Research
Do not probe, scan, or test the Services for vulnerabilities without our prior written consent. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, we genuinely want to hear about it — report it to [email protected] and we will respond; we will not take action against good-faith reports made in line with this policy.
4. Fair Use of Accounts and Plans
4.1 One Person, One Login
Paid plans are priced per user. Do not share a single user’s credentials between multiple people, or transfer an account designated for one person to another to avoid buying a seat. (Reassigning a seat when someone leaves your team is fine.)
4.2 No Gaming Limits
Do not abuse free plans, trials, discounts, or promotions to circumvent the limits of your plan — for example by creating accounts in bulk or cycling trial workspaces.
4.3 Use the Front Door
Access the Services only through our apps, supported browsers, and documented API. Do not scrape the Services or create accounts by automated means outside those interfaces.
5. No Spam
5.1 Unsolicited Messages
Do not use the Services to generate, send, or facilitate unsolicited bulk email, promotions, or other solicitations.
6. Enforcement
6.1 Proportionate Response
We may investigate suspected violations of this policy, and may remove or disable access to content that violates it. For most issues we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem; for serious violations — security attacks, illegal content, fraud — we may suspend or terminate access immediately under the Terms of Service.
6.2 Law Enforcement
We may report activity we reasonably suspect to be unlawful to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities, and cooperate with them as the law requires.
7. Reporting Abuse
7.1 Tell Us
If you encounter content or behaviour on the Services that violates this policy, report it to [email protected]. For security vulnerabilities, use [email protected].

Nearly every rule here comes down to not harming other people or the platform they rely on. Thanks for keeping it that way.
